Melinda Infante was born in 1994. She is a young Genevan artist, originally from Spain where she draws great inspiration. First a midwife, she works now paper frantically, she folds it, cuts it, transforms it, like a second skin. The colors, the pigments, the tears, are marks of life. Paper absorbs the shocks of existence, remains the imprint.

With the RENAISSANCE series, Melinda uses her scraps of paper and like the Phoenix, she invites the visitor to be reborn, to regenerate and to meditate on the cycles of transformation while celebrating the beauty and power of creation.
