Caroline Beauzon

Caroline Beauzon is a painter born in the South of France. She quickly developed a practice with varied styles, inspired by diverse movements, exploring themes of still life, the body, and furniture. Indeed, it is a series of chairs—modernist still lifes, flattened perspectives with a naive spirit, rendered in charcoal on rice paper—that she is currently creating for RART. Caroline doesn’t bother with the superfluous; she captures a moment, the vibration of a line, playing nostalgically with the silhouette of an object. Her works, inspired by her native Provence, blend earths and ochres, vivid blocks of greens and yellows, to magnify fragments of life and everyday objects.
