Caroline Beauzon is a painter born in the south of France. She quickly developed a practice encompassing a variety of styles, inspired by diverse movements, exploring themes of still life, the human form, and furniture. Currently, she is presenting a series of chairs—modernist still lifes, flattened perspectives with a naive spirit—in charcoal on rice paper for RART. Caroline avoids the superfluous; she captures a moment, the vibration of a line, playfully engaging with the silhouette of an object with a touch of nostalgia. Her works, inspired by her native Provence, blend earth tones and ochres, vibrant flat planes of green and yellow, to magnify fragments of life and everyday objects.
