Julia Morganho
Julia Morganho was born in 1981 in Hamburg, Germany. She first studied design at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg and then at the University of the Arts in Zurich. Music plays a major role in her creative process: Julia Morganho likes to say that she "uses it to transform her many abstract thoughts into reality". Her large, often geometric, flat areas convey a spontaneous and authentic gesture. Julia's color is "sour candy", a joy for the soul, a playful encounter of beauty and sobriety. Her works are characterized by a composition reduced to the essentials, a witness to her fascination with the unfinished and abstract expressionism. Color, light and composition are presented in their purest state. It is her constantly evolving forms and structures that make her paintings so special and invigorating.
