Maria Fiter is an artist and designer based in Barcelona. A graduate in art history from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, she founded her studio in 2013 and has since developed a unique practice, blending sculpture, design, and light installations. She brings to life objects made of cellulose fiber, "functional sculptures" that rhythmically punctuate space. Nature and the human body inspire her; her organic forms are abstract, sensitive, and poetic.
