Fabio Fontana, aka Gos, is an Italian graphic designer, painter, and printmaker born in 1974. He lives and works in Anzio, a small seaside town south of Rome, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. The artist divides his time between his studio and the sea, where he devotes himself to his passion for surfing. This fascination with natural elements inspires him daily and is an integral part of his work. The artist uses ancient printing techniques, sometimes combined, sometimes individual, with the aim of spreading a message of respect for the ocean and nature. His works are characterized by their minimalism and essentiality, combined with ancestral symbols. Each work is a personal interpretation of Haikus, short Japanese poems like invitations to a new journey. For Fabio, art should be an authentic experience that facilitates the viewer's relationship with themselves and their environment.
