Helen Booth, was born in Burton, England in 1967. A graduate of the Wimbledon School of Art, her artistic career was marked by a residency at the Hafnarborg Arts and Culture Centre in Iceland. Her work has earned her prestigious awards: the Pollock Krasner Foundation and the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation have honoured her. Helen Booth uses a reduced colour palette of white, black and shades of grey, giving life to poetic and minimalist canvases.
