Samantha Kerdine is a French artist and designer. Trained in graphic design and graduating with a Master's degree in Global Design, Research and Innovation from the Condé School in Paris in 2011, she began her career at an agency before dedicating herself fully to her personal practice. In 2016, she discovered ceramics under the tutelage of François Dubois, a revelation that transformed her creative process. She then opened her Parisian studio, where she develops a unique and playful body of work, a subtle blend of art and everyday objects. Vases, plates, paintings, and free-form pieces become the vehicles for an intimate language, made of colorful patterns, gestures, and textures. Samantha draws her inspiration from the ordinary, familiar scenes, and fleeting moments. Her pieces, whether painted or sculpted, are like fragments of a visual diary: they capture the discreet beauty of the mundane, poised between humor and melancholy. Each work invites a unique and poetic experience, where gesture, matter and colour come together to freeze the moment.
