In every work, there is first a form. Sometimes abstract, sometimes almost figurative, sometimes bordering on an object, sculpture, furniture, or sign. But always a form that transcends its mere appearance. FORMS INHABITED explores this silent presence of artworks: their ability to embody an emotion, a memory, an energy, without necessarily telling a story or representing anything. Here, abstraction does not distance us from the sensible; on the contrary, it opens up a more intimate, freer space where everyone can project their imagination, their memories, their own inner landscapes. Thomas Junghans' sculptures, Ah Um Design Studio's furniture pieces, Valentine Rosi Mistou's duos, Laurence Mallaret's ceramics, Jesse Hickman's paintings, Sarah Z. Short's sensitive abstractions, and Pascale Risbourg's lighting fixtures engage in a shared quest: to give body to the invisible. These works come to inhabit our walls, our rooms, our daily gestures. They bring to our interiors something more than formal beauty: a vibration, a presence, an extra soul. They transform the house into a sensitive place, a refuge, an intimate landscape, like an extension of our inner self. With FORMS INHABITED, RART Galerie continues its exploration of an art for the soul: an art of material and gesture, of abstraction and emotion, where each form seems to carry a secret life within it.
