Experiences of joy. This summer will be a celebration of color as the energy of life. The selected works explore light, matter, and emotion. Color as substance, as an inner depth, and sometimes even a mineral or plant memory. Color – earth, color – light, between interiority and solar impulse, is the link between Charlotte Culot and Maison Rhizomes, Veronique Villaret, Pascale Risbourg, Caroline Beauzon, Flora Castiglia, and Pascale Mestre. Each has her own language, her own rhythm, her own density, but the same attention to the tangible and a presence that is at once intimate, organic, and deeply inhabited. This creates a vibration, a way of giving color an essential function: that of embodying joy. A rhythmic joy, destined to last through form, through the wood and furniture of Willem Van Hooff. Here, joy is not shown, it is felt.
